Fantastic! The Gen Tso’s is the best I’ve ever had. The pad Thai is exceptional for a restaurant that doesn’t specialize it and every sushi roll has always been fresh and delicious. My favorite place to eat in Kankakee county

First timer! Koi Asian Bistro did not disappoint! You could smell the flavorful aroma as soon as you hit the door! We were seated asap! And the service was amazingly fast! We ordered the Pad see you noodles with white rice along with the orange chicken and a side of chicken fried rice. Even Fresh edamame for the complimentary. They also have plenty and plenty of sushi rolls options! The decor was very beautiful as the Japanese’s cherry blossom tree entices your eyes on first sight with plenty of seating. Koi Asian Bistro was very clean and very much an elegance establishment. Go Check em out!

Everything that I have tried here is consistently delicious. My favorites are the pad see u, chicken fried rice, chicken pad thai, and I believe they have the best egg rolls in town. I also ordered sushi one time and really enjoyed that as well. The service is also great, and quick. It is a little pricey, but for the quality that the food is, it seems fair to me.

Really like the salmon salad , panang curry, pad Thai and the pea pods served ahead . don't drink the bleach-flavored water. The green tea is nice. Occasionally, foods are over salted. Maybe a different chef . Noise is a big issue. Don't expect to talk in the restaurant. Maybe get carry-outs

5/5 - Great food, martinis, and the service staff at the bar were really friendly. We scored free edamame, which were perfectly salted, too. A group of three for a late dinner, we ordered a three rolls of sushi coupled with tuna and whitefish sashimi Unfortunately, I lost a pair of sunglasses on this visit - so someone had a great night, now looking a little more stylish. You're welcome, stranger.

Wow. Good sushi! The menu reads very American, where a lot has cream cheese, fish mixed in spicy sauce & they are definitely soy paper happy. But at least they had a few options for people who don’t want to hide the flavor of the fish. So good! The calamari was underdone & I took it home to throw in my air fryer but other than that everything was great! Good service, great food & reasonable prices. It was my second time here first dining in I will definitely be back. They also have sushi platters which really makes me happy.

We have to up our review of Koi a little bit. Honestly, except for the Thai dishes, we love everything here. I don’t know why we don’t eat at Koi more frequently. The decor is also very nice for this area. In an area where really good restaurants are few and far between, this is a nice gem. The owners are very nice to us. Every time we visit and the service is always cordial and prompt. We feel very well taken care of here and we appreciate it. They’ll do the same for you.
